There's all kinds of supplements out on the market so its hard to know for sure what you drank. Is it whey protein? A lot of guys drink it in hopes to build muscle. To be honest with you, it won't work unless you actually work out a lot because your body can only use so much protein and the rest will just go to waste. I won't go into the whole biological/chemical explanation but to put it in a simple summary, you basically pee out part of it and the rest either turns to body fat (adipose tissue), or gets stored as glycogen.





For protein, you should be consuming 0.8 grams per kilogram of body weight. (1 kilogram is equal to 2.2 pounds). If you're an athlete and exercise a lot, you can increase your daily protein to 1.2 grams per kilogram of body weight.What is that powder that you eat with a drink after you exercise?
