well, I'll treat it as attempted murder. I'll do everything to get that person arrested and trialed for attempted murder. its like someone put a small pipe bombing your diet soda.





and I do not support forcing people to stop smoking. people smoke by choice, if you don't like it then move away. banning the freedom and choice to smoking would be like a ban on perhaps a particular model of car that pollutes the air too much. I do not think society has the right to make something illegal because this is something society doesn't like people to do. smoke is one of those things, smoking is already banned in enclosed areas where people who do not wish to share the smoke cannot move away. but in public open areas there is plenty of space to move, if someone doesn't like inhaling a smoker's smoke, instead of forcing this person to stop smoking, why don't the offended person just move away?





I smoke by choice, I do not want this freedom taken away.





and if the courts will not help be just because I smoke by choice and someone tried to kill me to force me to stop smoking because they don't like it (if this is what the courts claim then I suppose I can just go kill people I don't like and society thinks they don't like either)





Then I will get revenge, an escalation of violence which I will not discuss further.actually the idea of a small pipe bomb in the person's diet soda sounds rather appropriate revenge. I'm a failure at making those things, mine never makes any shrapnel. so at most the person who drinks the beverage would get is ruptured eardrums. no shrapnel.
First of all, I don't smoke, so it would be pretty hard to pull that prank on me, but if I did smoke, and someone tried to pull that prank on me, particularly if the resulting burn or explosion was to hurt me, you can trust that the person that did it would wish that they hadn't. It wouldn't make me stop, it would just get me mad, and desire to get even.
Well Jeffrey, after I recovered from the 1st or 2nd degree burns to my face, I'd find you, no matter where you were hiding, and I'd beat you so badly that you'd be unrecognizable to even your closest family members. Then I'd pull all your teeth and make a necklace from them, and mail your testices to your parents in an old scooby doo lunch box. I'd break your patellas with a 5 pound hammer and pour hydrochloric acid in your ears.
You can still buy ';cigarette loads'; in most gag shops. They are safer than the items you suggest. Gunpowder will not ';explode';; it simply burns very fast and very hot. I no longer smoke my cigars since the last heart attack. But if you had ruined one of my very fine and expensive cigars with this tired old gag, you would find the stub of it in one of your body's orifices.
Neither gunpowder nor modern smokeless propellants is explosive. They just burn quickly. There used to be gag things that did cause a small bang, but I suspect liability concerns have taken them off the market, because I haven't seen them in years.


In direct answer to your question, I'd probably be surprised enough to drop the cigaret.
